Sitting In A Familiar Spot
When I visit a familiar location I usually try not to keep making the same pictures over and over again. Last week I visited Ocean City, Maryland for the seventh time. Every time that I visit I go down to the beach by the pier at least one time to make some photos. I don’t do it because it is something new, but rather it is one of the most peaceful ways that I can think to make pictures. Before the sun comes up you are just sitting there in the dark listening to the Atlantic Ocean crash into the shore. Then as the sun comes up you are rewarded with an amazing view. For this trip I had the idea to do something a little different. I made this three shot panoramic that I really liked. I think that it allowed me a way to show exactly what my view was from where I was sitting. Click on the image to see a larger version of it.
This Is The Life
As I write this I am sitting on our deck in Ocean City watching the town start to wake up. There is a breeze coming in off of the ocean, and it could not be a more perfect morning. After a while I think this could get old, but it would take more than a week for that to happen.
