Indiana State Baseball Wins A Pitchers Duel

Indiana State Wins Their Second Home Game In A Row

Yesterday was a cold but fun day at Bob Warn Field as Indiana State won their second home game in a row. For most of the game Triston Polley and Ryan Dunne were locked in a pitchers duel. In fact Dunne had a no-hitter into the sixth inning. That is when I decided to start tweeting about the no-no that Dunne was throwing. That did the trick, and Indiana State immediately looked to take the lead. They would have to wait until the eighth inning to get their runs though as Dunne was still too good. Most people do not enjoy a good pitchers duel, but on a cold day it helps the game move along a little quicker, and the emotion is a little better.

Still Going Strong With the Tamron 150-600mm Lens

For the second straight day I was playing around with the Tamron 150-600mm lens. I like how close I can get to the action on a crop frame body. There are some drawbacks though, but I feel that most of those are really only visible to pixel peeping photographers. Most people will never pay attention to the bokeh. I don’t think that this is my everyday lens, but it is fun as a change up every now and then.

The Week In Photos

Last week was a fun week. Any week with baseball in it is a fun week. If you read this blog then you know that I love a good bookend. Just by chance the week started off and ended with me photographing some eagles. I love it when a plan comes together that was never planned. If you want to check out my weekly post with my favorite photos in it you can click on my Exposure page here.
