Purdue Gets a Big Win on Dig For a Cure Night

Last night I was back in Holloway Gymnasium again to cover Purdue volleyball as they took on #13 Michigan. It was Dig For a Cure night so the players and the crowd were decked out in pink. Purdue was on fire last night as they took the match in four sets. They made beating a really good team look easy. Things do not get much easier for Purdue though as #15 Michigan State comes to Belin Court tonight. In the Big Ten you never have an easy weekend, and this weekend is another challenge for the team. I think that if Purdue can get into the tournament this year that they could make some noise though if they play like they did last night. They were tough and inspired. That makes it tough on the Boilermaker opponents.

More Photos From the Match

I have a gallery of images up from the match on the Purdue Exposure page here. I really enjoyed the pink backgrounds last night. They were something different which at this point of the season is good. Tonight the fans will be dressed in Halloween costumes so that should provide some good images to whoever is shooting the game.
