Washington State Pulls Off the First Upset of the Tournament

I really did not know what to expect when the second match of the Mortar Board Premier started Friday morning. I knew that Kentucky was ranked and Washington State was not. From what I had been told Washington State was the 4th best team in this tournament. From the beginning of set one the Cougars were out to prove that they were a force as well. Early on I was very happy with them as they were emoting on every play. They were giving me a lot from the start, and that did not stop as the sets went on. They were a very fun team to photograph as they kept putting up the points on Kentucky. In the end they won, and were given a date with Purdue that night with a lot on the line. A win and they would have the inside track to the tournament title. Could they keep the mojo going?

The Week In Photos

Every week I put together some of my favorite photos of the week into one Exposure post. It is a great way for me to look back at the previous week to see things that I did right, and what I can improve on. You can take a look at some of my favorite images from last week here. I will say though that it is mostly volleyball shots as I was a part of a lot of volleyball this past week.
