The Lafayette Brawlin’ Dolls Open Their Season Saturday at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds
This week basketball season ended for me, derby season is about to begin. If you have not been to a roller derby bout, then it is something you should try and do. They really put on a good show, and they give their all. If you read this blog regularly then you already know this, but in addition to participating in the athletic side of the bout they also are in charge of every aspect of the day. This is a labor of love for them that is a year round process. The public gets to see what they do four to five times a year, but the work is truly year round. The bout is at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds, and the gates open at six, with the skating starting at seven. You can find out more information on the bout on the event page here. Get on out and see roller derby up close and personal.
One More Plug For My National Championship Exposure Page
I really had a great time at the 2016 NCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship game. I was not intending to make an Exposure page from the event, but as I started going through my photos I realized that I should. I had a lot that I wanted to share, and so far I have found that Exposure is a great way to do that. You can find that Exposure page here. While you are there you can go through some of my roller derby pages as well if you like.
