Indiana State Beats Illinois State to Advance in the MVC Tournament

Last night I photographed Indiana State in the MVC Tournament. The Sycamores were a six seed so by that they were not expected to win. Nobody told that to ISU though who came out firing, and held on to beat Illinois State. Nothing beats tournament basketball, and I hope that I get to shoot through tomorrow. You could just feel the tension the entire game, and that makes it fun for a photographer. Tonight the Sycamores play at five o’clock local time against Evansville with a spot in the Championship game on the line. I am sure that the emotion will be ratcheted up a notch with the stakes getting higher. This year the folks at Indiana State have been great to me, and they really make it easy to work with them. Nothing would make me happier than to see the team hoisting some hardware tomorrow night.

Bonus Photos

I have put together an Exposure page for the game last night that you can find here. It covers the game a little better then I could do here. I also shot a bit of the Missouri State game vs. Evansville to warm up so to speak. I will include a few of those photos below.
