Finding One Last Shot Before Going Home

While back in my hometown of LaPorte, Indiana a few weeks ago I went out to make some early morning pictures in the falling snow. While on my way home I went down the street from where I was staying to the cul-de-sac to get a good shot of the house on my way back through. As I did though I noticed this tree against the blue sky. Normally I hate a clear blue sky when I am making landscapes, but this one seemed perfect for this shot. For once taking a drive around the block so to speak brought me something unexpected.

Are You Ready For the Snow?

While I was up north I realized that I had driven right into the heavy snow band of the early snow of the year. As the days go by we are getting closer to the snow season. Enjoy the next few days of mild December temperatures before the snow hits us. If you are part of my readers from the southern states send some of the warm weather my way.
