Yesterday I walked campus a bit before going over to the cricket spitting competition. If you are wondering what that is I have a picture and an explanation in the previous post. I came across one of the many flyer posts on campus, and thought that I would try something. It has always amazed me how many staples end up on these things. At some point they have to just fail because they have been stapled to death. I thought that it would be an interesting picture, and something that I do not normally make a picture of. I also tried to imagine some of the events that have been on this post. People have hopes and dreams pinned to whatever is on this flyer that they have posted. If people see it and attend the event they are happy. After posting many sports pictures over the past couple of weeks I thought that I would give you something fresh that was not sport related at all.

Technical Data

For this picture I simply used an old friend in Lightroom. I used Matt Kloskowski’s light sports preset for the image. It gave me the vignette that I wanted around the edges while adding a bit of sharpening to the image. I was happy with the result, and did not process the photo any further.
