Last Photo of the Year
This will be the last photo posted this year. This has been a great year for me and this little blog. I can say right away that this was by far the best year ever for this blog. Of course it was only running for the last three months of 2011 so it had to be. That being said I have met some great people, and had some interesting opportunities because of my fellow bloggers and readers. I wanted to take some time here to thank everyone for reading. It really means a lot to me, and I hope that I can continue to post pictures that you like. I will try to give some inside info as usual into each one as well. 2012 was a great year, but I think that 2013 can be even better!
I took this picture after a bout earlier this season at the Brawl House. The Lafayette Brawlin’ Dolls were very fun to watch, and this is a shot of this years captain Sugar Magnolia #630 thanking the fans after the game. I thought that it would be a great post to end the year on.
This was part of an experiment that I was working on in Lightroom. I took a Matt Kloskowski preset, and tweaked it to fit my needs. His was one called ‘the 300 look’. I took that preset, and adjusted it to fit the colors of the Brawlin’ Dolls so that the girls popped a bit more off the dull background. I liked the look of it, and will use it a bit more this coming season.
Best of 2012
On Flickr I have assembled 20 pictures that I really liked from this past year. They might not be the favorites of most, but they all mean something to me. Of course I didn’t put pictures up that were too personal, but enough to get a small glimpse of my year. Here is a link to that Flickr album.
