If you have read this blog you know that one of my brothers dogs who has appeared on the site a couple of times died last week. Today I got to meet the new dog that will keep their other dog company. While no dog will ever replace Cappie it was cool to see the new dog. There are some similarities, and as I said when I saw the first picture that they have a similar paint scheme. I wanted to get a picture of it on the site for a couple of reasons. One is very selfish. Everyone likes puppies so a few site hits probably wouldn’t hurt. The other one is that I really liked this picture. If this blog really will be a look into my life this was the highlight of today. I don’t want to post pictures of me at work everyday so why not post something that happened at night? The dog is named Patriot which is quite a mouthful to say, but is pretty cool since he was born on 9/11/11. I am sure that you will see him show up a couple of more times at least on this blog over the course of this next year.

He is a long haired dachshund. I think I will have way too many pictures of him before it is all said and done
