Cappie

I said earlier how today felt like a black and white day. That was before I found out one of my brothers dogs passed on. You might remember her from a post about a week ago. She was the dog with the firefly in front of her. Some people might have seen the sunset, but not many got past that cute dog. She was one of my best models during her brief life. During the short time that I stayed with my brother upon moving to West Lafayette I got to see Cappie everyday. This blog is supposed to be sort of a look into the things that went on over the year of taking pictures. This picture was taken back in June, but its subject has a great deal of bearing on how I feel today. People who say that they are just pets have obviously never had a pet. They are hard to say goodbye to especially when they are taken so young. Just a week ago I was playing with her on the floor. They say that pets are the first people that come up to you in heaven. I have a funny feeling that Cappie will stop just short so that she can roll over to let you pet her belly. Until then pal.
