A Classic Roadside Motel

When we left Milwaukee a few weeks ago the travel dad in me wanted to get further away from Milwaukee before stopping for breakfast. We didn’t get too far though and to be honest I was against it. That is until I saw the motel next to the restaurant. It had a classic sign as well as a classic roadside motel look. I made many photos while we waited for a table, and I then really liked this stop to eat.

Embracing The Normal

In the past I don’t know that I would have made this photo. I probably would have made a photo of the sign, and that is it. I have started to love these types of photos from the road though. In fact I might like them too much so my road trips take much longer now. Luckily for this location we were already there waiting so for once on the road we were not waiting on me.
