A Little Bit Of My Childhood

A few parts of this trip were planned. One thing that wasn’t was this donut shop in Crown Point. We missed a turn so on our way around the block I saw this place and knew that I had to go inside. The place was called Back In Time in the Back to the Future font so I knew that it had to be awesome inside. What I found inside was amazing. We were driving on my 50th birthday so it was cool to see so much of my childhood all in one place. You have the classic Nintendo, E.T., a Valterra skateboard, classic arcade games, and too many more things to list. My kids were probably tired of me explaining what things were, but it was cool to see. As my generation gets older I wonder if more places like this will pop up. According to Back to the Future 2 we should already have a Cafe 80’s.

The Way To Milwaukee

The theme this week is all about my trip to Milwaukee at the end of August. It was my 50th birthday so we found some things that make me happy along the way. It was a fun trip and this week we will look at some of the stops that I really enjoyed. Some of them were planned, and others not so much. It was a fun drive and worthy of a week of posts.
