The Lake House

In the early 80’s my grandparents bought a house on Fishtrap Lake in LaPorte. They took the small house and added on to it so that it was a nice big house on the lake. Over the years the house passed down to my uncle, and then in 2014 my father. I made this photo as we were pulling his boat out of the water in 2024. I am writing this post in the future. By the time that this goes live there is a chance that this house will be sold and someone else will be enjoying it now. A lot of memories were made there over the years.

50 For 50

This is going to be a crazy theme. For the next fifty days I plan on posting a photo of a place that has some meaning to me. Last August I came up with a theme for a week showing some Purdue memories. At the end of this fifty days I will turn fifty. I thought that it would be fun to take a look back at some places that bring back memories for me. This can’t be an all inclusive list, but one that I hope will be fun for you as well as me.
