An Iconic Photo Spot In LaPorte

As a kid I spent a lot of time somewhere along the shores of Clear Lake. Back then this view would have had the old Allis Chalmers buildings in the background. I made this photo with my first real camera in 2011. That was the year that this blog started, and when I really started trying to learn how to use my camera. I like that I captured this moment. The old pump house is now gone. The trees remain, but the view has changed a lot over time.

50 For 50

This is going to be a crazy theme. For the next fifty days I plan on posting a photo of a place that has some meaning to me. Last August I came up with a theme for a week showing some Purdue memories. At the end of this fifty days I will turn fifty. I thought that it would be fun to take a look back at some places that bring back memories for me. This can’t be an all inclusive list, but one that I hope will be fun for you as well as me.
