Back At IU

It has been over thirty years since I was a student at IU. I went down there with big aspirations, but I just couldn’t find what was right for me. I went down there thinking that I wanted to find something near sports. I thought that it was going to be as a writer. Of course that didn’t work out. When I was in my classes down there the photographers seemed so annoying to me. Of course now that is me walking around with a camera. I made this in 2015 twenty years after I last stayed in this dorm. It was kind of fun coming back to town as a photographer. This is the first time that this project has left the town of LaPorte. That kind of makes sense because this was the first time that I left LaPorte.

50 For 50

This is going to be a crazy theme. For the next fifty days I plan on posting a photo of a place that has some meaning to me. Last August I came up with a theme for a week showing some Purdue memories. At the end of this fifty days I will turn fifty. I thought that it would be fun to take a look back at some places that bring back memories for me. This can’t be an all inclusive list, but one that I hope will be fun for you as well as me.
