The Silver Palace

It is Saturday so it is time to head to the Silver Palace in LaPorte. For a few years that is just what I did. This was my first job many years ago. I worked weddings and events here for most of high school. Not much has changed over the years. This was a fun place where I made friends, and learned to cook a few dishes. I spent the majority of my weekends in high school right here. It probably kept me out of trouble that way.

50 For 50

This is going to be a crazy theme. For the next fifty days I plan on posting a photo of a place that has some meaning to me. Last August I came up with a theme for a week showing some Purdue memories. At the end of this fifty days I will turn fifty. I thought that it would be fun to take a look back at some places that bring back memories for me. This can’t be an all inclusive list, but one that I hope will be fun for you as well as me.
