The Former Site Of LaPorte Hospital

Where It All Started

You know that you are old when the hospital that you were born in is torn down. Today is the start of a fun project for me. I am going to look back on fifty places that have some meaning to me. This hospital is a good place to start. It was the place where it all started for me. This is the former site of LaPorte Hospital. It used to be a pretty distinct building on the skyline of LaPorte. After I was born they added on to the building chaining the look a little. It was around that remodel the this piece of art was added out front. Now that art is all that remains of the building that I was born in.

50 For 50

This is going to be a crazy theme. For the next fifty days I plan on posting a photo of a place that has some meaning to me. Last August I came up with a theme for a week showing some Purdue memories. At the end of this fifty days I will turn fifty. I thought that it would be fun to take a look back at some places that bring back memories for me. This can’t be an all inclusive list, but one that I hope will be fun for you as well as me.
