Maybe The Perfect Symbols Of America?

This past weekend we were driving into Roann, Indiana when I saw this eagle holding a flag next to a corn field. When I saw it I couldn’t help but think that there was a lot of America in one photo here.  I am just missing a couple of jets flying over in the distance. Being somewhat near Grissom Air Force base this might be something that happens from time to time.

Firing Up The Fireworks

This past week the fireworks have already started no matter where I have been. We have been doing a little traveling, and everywhere that we have been the fireworks have been filling the sky. Right now it looks like I will be at a concert during the fireworks shows on the 4th, but as a photographer I want to make sure that I get to see and photograph some this year. I have bought some just to hedge my bets. I will get to photograph some at least this year.
