Celebrating 250 Years Of Our Country

This Saturday we will celebrate 250 years of this country. It is hard to believe that it has been that long. It only seems like yesterday. It has been fun seeing all of the red, white, and blue up the last couple of weeks. Saturday night we will all get together and watch fireworks and have fun. It would be really nice if we could always enjoy things together. We celebrate 250 this year, but we know like in other times in our history that we have some work to do to keep this great experiment going.

Planning For 250

Last year around the 4th I started thinking about what the blog would look like this year. I started finding moments like the one above that I could use to show the various ways that we celebrate our country. Of course you can’t always plan things out. When I saw this shop window a couple of weeks ago I knew that I would use it for the week. I love these little surprises. you can only plan so much in photography.
