An Old Arby’s Sign In Warsaw, Indiana

A few years ago my little one and I went into a local Arby’s and while we were waiting on our food I showed her some of the old photos of restaurants on the walls. This huge hat sign was on every Arby’s when I was a kid. I hadn’t seen one in person in years. Of course the photographer in me looked them up and saw that there was one in Warsaw, Indiana. At the time I had the thought that I wouldn’t drive nearly two hours just for an old sign. Sometimes you get lucky though and end up there years later.

Photos From The Road

Softball road trips have been the fuel that has fed this blog for the last few years. I don’t do a lot of research before heading out, but I try and find things on the way to and from games as they appear to me. This sign I spotted a couple of years ago while in Warsaw for a tournament. I had forgotten that I looked it up and one was there. This year I made a point to drive down there during blue hour to see this relic from my childhood in some interesting light. I am glad that I did.
