A Fireworks Stand In The Parking Lot

I made this photo as one of the first ever that I pushed through my Fujica AX-3 camera. I had just bought it around the corner at Camera Outfitters. This fireworks stand was the perfect subject for the camera. With any film camera you don’t know what you are going to get until til the first roll of film goes through it. This was a good start to the camera. It also freezes a moment in time at Market Square.

Fireworks Week

The next few weeks will all have a patriotic theme to them. The 250th anniversary of our country is coming up. With that in mind I have been looking for signs of our flag and other patriotic symbols as I have been on the road. This week we look at some of the various fireworks shops that I have found. They come in all shapes and sizes so it makes it kind of fun to find and photograph them.
