Sunset At The Barn

On the way home from a softball game in Covington the sun was setting and I saw a couple of barns. This barn was a little newer and didn’t have the old barn look, but I realized that with the sun behind it I could silhouette the barn for a fun photo. I had a preset in mind to start with when I got home, and the photo came out pretty much how I envisioned it on location.

Barn Week

A couple of weeks ago we drove by an empty lot where a very cool barn once stood. Early on in the life of this blog I made a photo of that barn. When I pulled up to it I had the thought that I would wait for a better day. I made the photo anyway as a reminder to come back. I came back the next week at sunset and the barn had been torn down. From that day on I have made the photo of a barn that I think is interesting. This week is all about those barns for my theme.
