Blue Hour Outside The Purdue Union

This morning I was out taking my youngest to school and realized that the earlier than normal call for her school concert meant that I could get somewhere for blue hour. I drove up to the Purdue Memorial Union to make the photo above. I feel like I have made this photo before, but with all of the new lights it kind of makes it new.

Coming Up With New Ideas

I have been making photos of the union at Christmas for well over a decade now. Sometimes it is hard not to repeat yourself. Every year this photo is one that sells though so it is worth repeating myself a little. The new lights really help give it a different look from what I have done in the past. I made the photo at the top of the post kind of out of habit, and then found the photo just above while walking around. I don’t know if it is good or not, but it is different.
