The Catbird Visits The Backyard

The catbird has a name that always makes me laugh. They named a bird after its mortal enemy. When you hear the catbird though you can tell why they named it the way that they did. It really does have a catlike sound. Here one sits in the catbird seat in my backyard showing off that sound.

The Return Of My Backyard Birds

This is a feature on the blog that would show up from time to time. In the winter when things were slower it seemed to really help me get through those times when photos were not as easy to make. Now though I have found ways to keep the photos coming. In fact I have gone from one to two posts a day and still have photos to share. This has always been a fun feature though so it gets a theme week on the blog.
