The Magnolia Warbler Visits The Backyard

The magnolia warbler is one of my favorite birds warblers. I think that most of my favorite warblers are birds that I have seen a lot over the years. They become favorites because they come down from the tree tops so that I can make good photos of them. This one came down and into some sunlight that I was hoping something would move through. The sun was just outside of the frame in the morning, and I hoped for something interesting. I also wouldn’t have minded if this bird had found another perch for a for traditional photo, but this would have to do for the year.

The Return Of My Backyard Birds

This is a feature on the blog that would show up from time to time. In the winter when things were slower it seemed to really help me get through those times when photos were not as easy to make. Now though I have found ways to keep the photos coming. In fact I have gone from one to two posts a day and still have photos to share. This has always been a fun feature though so it gets a theme week on the blog.
