Alexander Field Snokeh

A Quick Change

It is March in Indiana so the weather is changing rapidly. It was over 50 on Wednesday when I was last at Alexander Field making baseball photos. I was kneeling on ice melt on the ramps near the field so you knew that it was not far from cold weather. Last night at sunset the snow started to pick up and I was able to make a couple of snokeh photos around the field. This time of year I would rather have sunshine and baseball, but when they are out of town I will take a last run with the snokeh.

The Backup Plan

For most of the day this portion of the night was supposed to be clear. With sun just before sunset I was going to visit Ruby the screech owl at the Celery Bog. Just before I left to head up to campus with the sun out the clouds rolled in and the snow started. I took a second camera set up for snokeh with me just in case. I am glad that I did as it ended up being the only photos that I made.
