A Chipmunk Peeks Around The Corner
Today while walking out of the woods at the Celery Bog I saw this chipmunk hanging out in an opening in a tree. We stared at each other for a moment or two before it went into the opening. I moved over a bit to get closer and a better angle and it peeked back out to see if I was still there. I was, and it is on the blog now. During my walk I think that the only photos that I made were of a few deer and two chipmunks that I crossed paths with. It was not what I was thinking of when I left the house, but sometimes you take what you can get.
That Time Of The Year
We are quickly entering a very slow time for my photography. I most likely have covered my last basketball games of the year. The wait for the spring sports to start is on. At the bog the wildlife is really just not there right now. The main reason to go out there is to get a good walk in and to also think of some new places to make photos this year. For the next couple of weeks I am going to have to get creative to make some photos for this blog. The purpose of the blog is to keep me always thinking about the next photo. One great exercise is to get out of the rut and to try something new. With nothing to really photograph for a couple of weeks that will be done more by necessity rather than a cool exercise.
