Venus In The Wind

The Venus Statue At The Haan Museum

This might be the most photographed thing at the Haan Museum. When we walked in to the garden area I resisted making an image of it for that reason. When we were leaving I decided to just give it a go. With it being a windy, grey sky day I knew that I was making a black and white image so I made my exposure thinking of that.

Coming Back Another Day

I always say that I want to come back to this statue on a day when the sky is a little better. In fact as I write this I am still waiting for my first snokeh photos of the year. This art and the home itself could make a good snokeh subject. I really do need to make a point to photograph this statue on a day that isn’t a grey sky day.
