Above The Union Christmas Tree

Every year I struggle to make a different photo of the Christmas tree at the Purdue Union. This year I came up with the idea to be above the tree and to try and motion blur some of the people walking around it. The only problem with that idea was that I went up to the tree later at night when it would have less people around it for my wide photo of the tree. I only saw a few stragglers here and there. There is something to this idea, but maybe just from a different angle.

Just A Couple Of Days Left

The tree is scheduled to come down this year on the 21st unless it is deemed too dry. At best you have just a couple of days left to see this year’s version before it is gone. This is always a fun family trip for us, and it is always a sad occasion when it comes down.
