Sweet Nothing

Creating Dead Space In Photos

One thing that has been fun over the course of the last couple of years is creating dead space in my photos. It started with my sports photography, and has spread to the rest of my work. I love to put my faith in something unknown with the majority of my photo. There is a great feeling when you are giving so much to a sweet nothing, and it makes the photo stand out from what I normally do.

The bottom of the tree had parking signs and an ugly fence. Just showing the top of the tree allowed me to still make a photo of the tree and to show off the awesome color.
