Brunch With The Spotted Sandpiper
I have only been out to the bog a couple of times at the end of summer, but both times I have had a spotted sandpiper fly very close to me and feed as if I am not there. It is fun to watch, and kind of hard to keep up with the sudden movements when you are manually focusing on the bird. I did manage to make a few photos that I liked though.
Keeping Your Options Open
I really was hoping to make a heron photo like the one above when I went out to the bog. I have yet to make a nice heron feeding picture. These are much harder to make as the bird is much, much smaller. When it works out though you are rewarded. Here are a few bonus photos from my time with the sandpipers.
I really like the photos but what’s that on its tail?
