Watching The Clouds Roll By

Friday night I went out with a goal in mind to make some photos. I had been in a bit of a rut and I wanted to try and make a few things. The clouds were streaking by so I put my big stopper on my lens to let those streaks be the subject of my photos. It is fun to pick some clouds that would make for a good photo and to wait for them to move past my subject. Here the clouds look great streaking by Beering Hall.

Getting A Sneak Peek

While making my photos Friday night I heard a preview of the Purdue bands shows for Indy. You could hear them a short distance away playing their show. I always love hearing the band play, and this was a unexpected treat. I normally have other music playing while I am making photos, but Friday night I let the Purdue band play my soundtrack. The patriotic theme was perfect for Memorial Day weekend.
