A Christmas Tradition Returns

Monday morning I went down to the Purdue Memorial Union to watch the Christmas tree arrive. Last year we missed this great tradition, but it was great to see it arrive again. Once the tree is up and decorated we will visit it as a family as we have for years. This year it will be a little different though as the post visit trip to Pappy’s will not be happening.

Recreating The Masters

There are times when I see something unfold in front of me when I think of a historical photo. As the men were raising the tree it really had the same vibe as the famous Iwo Jima photo by Joe Rosenthal. I couldn’t move over to make the photo that I had in mind, but I made this work.
