Taking Advantage Of The Leaves While They Are Here

Our tree in the back keeps its leaves longer than most trees. As the fall foliage season is coming to a close I am trying to make as many pictures of the leaves as I can. The colors are nice, and the tree looks much better than it will in a few weeks. The berries also are a great way to lure birds that do not normally visit the backyard into coming over.

Don’t Forget Mrs. House Sparrow

I liked this photo of a female house sparrow hanging out at the base of the tree. It is not the cleanest background in the world, but I liked the pose. Bird photography like sports photography can be messy at times. You cannot always pick where the photo will be. For just spending a little time in the backyard this fall I have made some photos that I have liked.
