Having Some Fun With A Tilt Shift Lens

A couple of nights ago I went up to campus to play around with the Canon 24mm tilt shift lens. I had never used a tilt shift lens before last week, and I wanted to play around with it to see if it is something that I would like to use. A new lens can mean a new way of looking at things. While walking around I was still discovering things that I could do to make a photo more interesting. I did not make any award winning photos on my walk that night. I did however get in a nice walk on campus, and I learned a lot more about my new lens.

As I said above the goal of the trip was not to make a bunch of amazing photos. It was meant to be a walk that was fun, but also to learn about the lens. I was trying to think differently than I normally do. Below are a few bonus photos from my walk where I was trying some things out.
