A Different Kind Of April Showers

Normally they say April showers bring May flowers. What happens if those are snow showers though? I still can’t believe that it snowed so much on Tuesday. When I went to bed it was still snowing outside. A good amount especially for the time of year was waiting for me in the morning. As it was starting to melt I went outside to make a few photos. The photo above is one of my favorites from that time.

Knocking The Flowers Off Of The Tree

As the snow melted and fell it knocked off nearly every flower off of our tree. Just when things were starting to look beautiful the weather came in and intervened. We did get a few days with the tree and they were coming off anyway, but the snow really quickened the pace.
