When Sports Go Away

This summer I wasn’t the only one to lost their sports season. Both kids lost their softball and t-ball seasons because of the virus. My oldest had just found catching the previous year. When things were somewhat normal she attended the Purdue softball camp to learn how to be a better catcher, and she was looking forward to the season. Of course that never happened. At her age her catchers gear will probably not fit next year. We decided one night with a great sunset to play around a little with her helmet on against the sky. At some point we will have a full on photoshoot for some fun.

Having Fun With Silhouettes

I know that a time will come when I will light my oldest up in her gear against a great sunset. On this night the sky lit up so fast that we didn’t have time for all of that. A good silhouette would have to do. I really liked trying to find just the right spot to try this out.
