Back To Birds
Sometimes you let parts of your photography slide. With the heat of the summer and lack of time during daylight hours my bird photography has taken a huge hit. The other day though I had a couple of birds trying to make sure that I saw them in the backyard. This juvenile robin was posing on the fence for a long time. Long enough in fact that I took the time to grab the camera and work the angle for a better background. I am glad that it posed for me though. It allowed me to make a bird photo. Except for a few photos in bad light at Prophetstown a few days earlier I had not really made a bird photo in quite a while.
Looking Forward To The Fall
In the fall with lower temperatures the colorful migratory birds will be back in our area. I look forward to being back out in the woods making photos of them. With no real sports or bird photography lately I would bet that my long lens photography is getting pretty rusty. I might have to get back out soon and get that rust knocked off.
