Finally Getting To Watch Some Sports Again
When I received my new drone I took it out for a test flight over the local high school stadium. Just over the outfield wall was this game going on. I liked the graphic nature of the setup with the map of the USA just off to the right. I thought that it was a pretty good photo that showed some of the activity during this lockdown. I also got lucky to have the ball in play just over the net.
Bringing Back An Old Project
When I bought my first drone a few years ago I had this idea to make photos of sporting venues of all kinds from above. There is something about that top down look that is great. A few of those early photos made it onto the blog. I got busy with work, and the project went onto the back burner. As this lockdown continues there probably would be no better time to bring the project back.
