Photographing The Skaters At Tapawingo Park
Last night I went out to run a couple of errands and finally scratched this photo off of my list. I had been thinking about it for a week or so now, but every time that I drove by the rink was empty. On this night it was not empty, but there were only four skaters and one instructor. At first I thought that my photo may not turn out, but I realized that it was the perfect scenario.
Filling Up The Ice
Being on a tripod I decided to try something out. I made multiple exposures when the four skaters where in action. Then in Photoshop I pulled little moments out to fill up the ice. That also worked well for the cars on the street. I don’t always use a tripod. In fact I rarely do. In situations like this though it helped me make the photo that I had in mind when I showed up at the park.
