Photographing The Lafayette Aviators With The Sony A9

Photographing Baseball With The Sony A9

August is here and I am still talking about this Sony? I have a funny feeling that I will be talking about this camera system for a little while. I went to the stadium to try a little test. I wanted to put this cutting edge technology on a lens that is about 23 years old. I really did not think it would work. My 1DX was in the bag for the inevitable time when I would be tired of missing photos. The 1DX never came out of the bag.  This thing is doing everything that I am asking of it. I really couldn’t ask for anything more.

Dog Day At The Park

The whole family came to the park with me because it was dog day. I love these games as there seems to be more than the action on the field to shoot. You can look really good just by making a few cute dog photos.

Loeb’s Final Stand

We are down to about a week left of having Loeb Stadium as a baseball venue. I am pretty sure it will start coming down shortly after the final Aviators game. I love this old place even though I haven’t known about it for very long. So much history in this little park. As with all good things though it is coming to an end.
