The Battleground Water Tower

This is one of two water towers in Battleground, Indiana. One day while at Prophetstown State Park I saw the skies over this tower and thought that it would make for an interesting subject. I have always liked putting way too much sky in my photos, and with very little foreground this was a great opportunity for that as well.

Photographing Water Towers

One thing that I love to do in a new town is photograph the water towers. You can tell a lot by a town by their water towers. They are something that changes as well. They proudly will put their town name and sometimes a motto up on the tower. Something to let you know just what they are all about. I have a side project involving these towers that I never really get to doing. Maybe that will all change this summer.
