The White Sox End The First Half With A Win
It is hard for me to believe that it has been almost four years since I last attended a White Sox game. Until last week it had been four years since I saw any MLB game in person. Some of that is having kids, and some of it has to do with the fact that I would rather photograph something than just sit and watch it. None of it is a valid excuse though as I should have been back much sooner than I was. It was a heck of a game to come back to. The White Sox won over the Cubs on the strength of Eloy Jimenez and Jose Abreu home runs. Eloy was one of the few people on the team that I had not seen play in person yet. It was great to see his easy swing jack a long home run to center. I did not make many photos during the game. I brought my 11-24mm in so I was really only able to do wide angle stuff. The majority of what I did make was of my daughter playing in the kids zone. The photo above of the fireworks and celebration after the win was one that I liked though. I did want one good overall shot from the game.
The Week In Photos
As I said yesterday last week was filled with sunsets, fireworks, and baseball. It doesn’t get much better than that. You can see my favorite photos from last week here.
