The First Day Of The Big East Baseball Tournament Continues
As I said yesterday this is a very relaxed tournament. With two games a day it is still work, but not as much as it could be. With the afternoon game one starts that means that the nightcap is under the lights. This is my second year shooting this tournament, and the sky still has not lit up. That has to change at some point. With the tourney here at Prasco Park until 2022 my odds of finally photographing a great sunset at Prasco have to be good by the end of that run.
Photographing Under The Prasco Lights
The lights here at Prasco Park are interesting. The do not spill much so they are almost all directional lights. There are a few dark spots on the field, and a few spots that are extremely well lit. I have to really try and find the middle as my ISO is so high that I can’t shift too far one way or another. Photographing here during the day is easy. When the sun sets it becomes a bit more of a challenge. You have to be much more deliberate with what you choose to photograph as you can’t crop as much as you normally can. The good news is that this is baseball so you have plenty of time to figure out where you want to be.
