May The 4th Fun
Saturday night was Star Wars night at Purdue baseball because of the date. It was a fun night with a lot of different characters walking around. They had a few people dressed up in Star Wars costumes as well. I was finally blessed with a baseball sky during the game. For my other games this season the sky was clear or overcast without much color in it. Here I was finally able to make some good sunset stadium shots.
Stitching It All Together
Stitching has a lot of context in the baseball world. For this game though it was about stitching 21 images together for one big panoramic image. I wanted to show off the stadium in the good light. The light was drastically different around the field though so I took seven sets of panoramic images. Lightroom has the great new feature where you just select the images and it does all of the work for you. In the past I would have had to take each of the seven shots and process them individually. Then you had to stitch them together. Here in a few minutes I had the final product, and I could edit while it processed.
The Week In Photos
This was a fun week filled with migrating birds and baseball. If you are not a fan of either this is probably a link that you don’t want to click. If you are interested in either then you can click here to see my favorite images from last week.
