Hanging Out With The Bald Eagles Of The Wabash
Yesterday I had a couple of hours to kill so I went for a little ride. My first stop ended up being the best stop. I drove down to the Wabash to see if the bald eagles were still hanging around. Sure enough there were a couple sitting in a tree with a juvenile flying around. The young one decided to sit all alone in a tree top which allowed me to make the photo above. Then it swooped down away from me to grab a fish. I was sitting with the wind at my back so I thought the eagles would fly right at me. After it missed on round one of fishing it swooped right at me the second time and caught its dinner. It is always amazing to watch this happen in person.
The Week In Photos
This was a different week for me. Basketball is over unless something crazy happens so I have shifted gears. I shot one baseball game and three diving meets. The week started off with a visually stunning Metallica concert so it was probably always going to be downhill from there. Surprisingly it was not. I had a great week making photos. You can see my favorite photos from last week here.
I prefer bald eagles to basketball any day, although probably not to hockey. 🙂 Lovely shots.

I wish that I could predict a general area that the eagles would be in like I can basketball players. The challenge is what makes it so fun.
