Another Year Another Title

Each year the Purdue volleyball season starts off with a tournament just before my birthday. The name of the tournament may change, but the result stays the same. This year Purdue walked away with another early season tournament title. For the first time since I have been photographing games though I was there to photograph it for the school. It was a good feeling to be the one to make the victory photo this year.

Shooting In A Packed And Rowdy Holloway Gymnasium

Part of the fun of shooting Purdue volleyball in Holloway Gymnasium is just how loud it can get. It was great to be in there in front of a packed house again on Saturday night. Over the course of this year I will have a few more chances to photograph the team on Saturday night.

The Week In Photos

When I posted this photo on Instagram I used a corny joke about how much fun shooting Purdue volleyball is. This was a fun week to make photos though. I love it when I start to get really busy with sports. The college season is unlike anything else that I photograph, and this weekend made for some fun images. This coming week will be good as well with the start of college football. You can see my favorite photos from last week here.
