A Glimpse At Waveland, Indiana
Earlier this year while heading down to Indiana State I stopped in the town of Waveland, Indiana. I wanted a shot of this mural and the buildings around it. As I was leaving I saw this man walking through, and paused just long enough to make this shot. I wanted to get centered more, but I also didn’t want to ruin the moment by running over a few feet. I took what was in front of me. It is a cool little moment in time in that little town.
The Canon 24-105mm f/4 Lens
When this blog started I was using the kit 18-135 lens more most of my photos. Looking at the number of posts on the sidebar it still ranks up there. I then bought a Tamron 10-24mm lens that I made a lot of photos with. I still sell a lot of photos made with that lens. Things changed when I added the 24-70 f/2.8 and the 70-200mm f/2.8 to my bag. My first ‘L’ lenses really started me in the right direction. I used the heck out of that 24-70mm lens, and I still should. Two years ago though I bought the Canon 24-105mm lens. It really is a great walk around lens with a little bit of everything. In just a year Looking at the sidebar I can see that in that time I have made photos that have made it onto the blog over 320 times. Basically one of of every two days since I bought the lens. It is an invaluable tool in my bag that is usually the first lens that I pack.
