The Holiday Season Comes and Goes So Fast

Here we are now on December 25th. It does not seem like that long ago that we were celebrating Thanksgiving and making plans on how to spend Christmas. By the time that this blog post hits the presents will be unwrapped, and the tree will look bare underneath of it. Every year I usually post a shot of our tree and some of the things around it. This year I thought that I would change things up a little and play around. One night after far too much wrapping late into the night I made this photo. I liked the idea of showing just how fast the holidays go by in a photo. Maybe I watched too many Star Wars movies as a kid, but nothing shows motion like hyperspace looking lines. As a kid the only other way that I knew how to show movement was to have a red line moving across a map. Anyway I hope that you like my little experiment here.

Merry Christmas to You!

The tree and the presents are nice, but the real reason for the season is of course a lot different than that. This year has been an interesting one for sure. It has been full of ups and downs. The thing that keeps up sane is our family and friends. This is a time of year to spend with them enjoying each others company. I also have a lot to be thankful for with the many people that read this blog everyday. I don’t say it enough, but thank you for coming and reading the drivel I write daily. It means a lot to me, and as always I will try and improve it.
